Halfway through the semester

8 weeks behind me and only 54 days until graduation! Thinking about it seems far, but saying only 54 days feels crazy!

This past weekend Tech played ATM in Lubbock, and not only should we have beat ATM anyways since it's ATM, but we also should have killed them because of the way they've been playing this season. Well not only did we lose, but we played a sloppy game and do not have a decent QB anymore. As hard as it was to sit through that game, I still have a great weekend with one of my best friends Julie. She is now in Dallas going to grad school, but she came in for the weekend! After a long, hard week it was great to see her and to catch up on everything.

After the game we all went out to eat with Julie's parents at Gardski's (always good)!

Tonight I've been catching up on my reading for my classes, and went to take pictures for my class earlier. But a cold front is blowing in, so not only it is already cold but the wind is crazy right now! The current assignment we're on is motion, which is more difficult that I thought, but here are some that I think I will be turning in:

National Chocolate Cupcake Day!

While updating myself on my favorite cupcake blogs, I came across one with a link to a food holiday website - and October 21st was Chocolate Cupcake Day! So in honor of the day and finding this website, I made chocolate cupcakes of course and plan to stay updated with most of the days. Some are gross or foods that I never want to make...but when it's something fun then I'll "celebrate"!

If you didn't happen to have a chocolate cupcake today, then pretend you did with these that I made. Some of them I added marshmallows when I took them out of the oven, but other than that they are your simple chocolate cupcake with chocolate buttercream icing - but they are delicious!
