Make over Monday

Well...I'm MAJORLY slacking on my blog posts. I need reminders :)

Since my last post, I have discovered an absolutely amazing website. At the end of the day, it's probably a huge time waster (shhhh) but it is also an organizer, an idea generator, and a pretty cool idea for those of us who love blogging, crafts, pictures, etc.

What's this site called? Pinterest - I warn you, you are going to be addicted once you get on it too! Click here: http://pinterest.com/trskidmore/ and it should take you to my site.

Pretty much the site is a place where you can create multiple inspiration boards - Go to mine and you'll pick up on it fairly quick. So with that said since it's Make-over Monday, here are a few DIY/make-over ideas (and I have them posted on Pinterest too!)

Have an old cookie sheet that looks gross and food sticks too? Make it over and create a display/magnetic board!

Have a t-shirt that's too small for you? This blog has a tutorial on how to make it into a ruffled baby's shirt with very little sewing!

Do you a few books lying around and are you in need of some gifts? Make-over (aka: completely transform) the book, and make it into a wreath! My dear from Lorraine made one of these for my mom, and it looks great!
Librarians, Please Avert Your Eyes

I hope these make-overs give you some ideas on summer projects, baby gifts, wedding gifts...or just a time consumer if you get some down time soon :) Enjoy!

Top Ten Tuesday

In no particular order, here are top 10 blogs that I spend a little too much time on :-) I could, of course, have picked about 20...but that just wouldn't make sense. This list also doesn't include pure photography blogs that I love - Maybe next Tuesday I'll have a top 10 list for different categories....
