Etsy Addiction

Anyone else addicted to Etsy??

I'm not even addicted to buying anything from Etsy...just looking at shop after shop to see what creative things I can find! Here are a couple of my favorites that I check out daily to see if I need to make any purchases :o)

Both of these I've given in and bought adorable headbands for Scott's niece:

This one is where I will spend money once I have it for myself:

Here are photography shops that I love:

TayLor Made With Care

The time has come for Me, Lorraine, and my mom to start back at craft shows! Last Spring we got this crazy idea to start making aprons - Very unique, homemade, and practical aprons! From the first couple we made, we signed up with a craft show, AND my mom branched into making her own food pedestals!

Since that first show we have been nonstop in searching for fun fabric and booth ideas, and FINALLY next weekend is out first show!

I have created a flyer with the 5 shows we are participating in, so forward it on if you know of anyone who loves craft shows - We would also love to hear how you heard about us, whether it's my blog, my Facebook, Lorraine's Facebook, or just my word of mouth.

Here is what our Spring show looked like!

Hope to see you next weekend!

International Women's Friendship Month

Happy International Women's Friendship Month!!

September is almost over, but don't let that stop you from spending special time with any woman in your life! This is a perfect excuse to talk for hours over lunch when you "have more productive things to do"...Oh well! Time is such a special thing and we must spend a lot of it with our best friends, moms, sisters, grandmas, aunts, sorority sisters, or any woman who has a special place in your heart!

International Women's Friendship Month was founded by Kappa Delta, so as a proud KD Alum, I'm passing along the information to you :o)

Here's a few links you can check out for more history and ideas on what to do:

Protect those clothes!

aprons aprons aprons!!!

Me and Lorraine have started making aprons to sell in stores, on Etsy, and at craft shows. Currently we have over 20 made, waiting to sell, and a ton of fabric still to be touched. This project has been a blast getting to be creative and quirky in so many different ways.

Like mentioned, we are selling on Etsy. Take a look at what's currently up, and request for a customized apron if you don't see anything you like!

Welcome 2010!

It's been forever, but I'm back! 2009 wasn't a year that I can complain about...

I turned 21 :o)

I interned with mark. in New York City!

And I graduated from Tech in December!

...but welcoming in 2010 was and will be even more exciting - Now life it about job searching, interviewing, and settling back into living with my parents again :o) (but I have to admit, it's easier than people warned)
